Jaksta (www.jaksta.com) is way cheaper and supports hulu and most other video and music websites.

U could try tunebite, it works on hulu for recording movies and tv shows and also on other sites like hulu, also it converts the files into the formats u need so it can be played on all music devices. Also it even records the encrypted files which can’t be recorded with other tools. Great!!!

Tunebite can’t download encrypted streams. Use Replay Media Catcher and Jaksta as they are more reliable. And you can download encrypted flash streams with rtmpdump.

The encrypted files can’t be downloaded, it’s a protected format, so you need to use a screencapturing software. Tunebite captures the hulu shows, at least for me and it even captures the video stream with high quality.

Has any one ever tried to capture by simply connecting a DVD recorder or vcr to the video and audio out on the computer? (vga to rca adapter needed)
